In a classically naiive fashion I have been waiting for some announcements on the new government. Instead, and I use this as an example rather than in the absolute, today’s Moscow Times carries a story about the appointment of a key Medvedev ally to the Board of Rosneft (aka as Sechin’s empire).
The story prior to this was a battle over defence assets between different silovki groups.
